Heritage Middle School students raised more than $400 for the opportunity to bedazzle the head of one of four educators: Principal Dr. Dru Tomlin, Assistant Principal Stuart Gartrell, Connections teacher Jason Tucker and physical education teacher Kerry Burton.
Heritage Middle School student leaders spent Monday and Tuesday mornings creating blankets for My Very Own Blanket, a Westerville-based nonprofit dedicated to providing handmade blankets to children in foster care.

Leaders behind The Big Bus recently launched The Big Bus II — a retired transit bus that has been converted into a mobile classroom — to support WCSD middle and high school students in need of classroom support and services.
